I Can't Let It Go...
I hate it when people spell the word magic with a "k" at the end of it. Ten years ago, you didn't see it often. Now it's everywhere. I don't know what happened but I'd love to grab whoever is responsible by the shoulders and shake them talk some sense into them. I don't care what the justification is, it's ridiculous and phonetically redundant. I don't care if it's meant to differentiate between real magic and stage magic. It. Makes. Me. Crazy.

Hahahaha! Oh my gosh, I almost did a little dance when I read this! I freaking hate that, too! What exactly are they trying to differentiate it from? Side show magic? That's not magic, it's illusions.
ReplyDeleteRunning a close second, those who can't spell "altar". It's 2 "a"s people!!
I have to agree with you and Mrs. B it is so annoying.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely agree. I often have to restrain myself from going on a rant everytime I see somebody spell it with a K. Or with a j, or both. "Majick" Come on.
ReplyDeletePlease add me to the list. Whenever is see anything spelt along those line I completely discredit it. I picture it as little plastic wands, glitter and fairy wings. While they are cute there are defiantly NOT Magic.
